Frank Serafine is an award-winning American sound designer/supervisor/editor and composer who has worked on over 50 feature blockbuster films such as The Hunt for Red October, which won an Academy Award for Best Sound Effects Editing.

He was the sound designer on Tron, Poltergeist II and Star Trek, as well as several video games like Grand Theft Auto, Pocahontas, Wing Commander and The Suffering.

As a composer he has worked on hundreds of national television commercials including the Chrysler, Chevron and CBS campaigns. Serafine comprehensive independent sound effects libraries and recently released music “The Serafine Experience” for APM Music make him a leader in the new emerging art of multi-mediaist.

Mr. Serafine is also a developer of professional apps with Apple Computers and a sponsored artist with companies such as AJA, Samson, and Sony. As an advisory board member, he will be assisting Max Sound in every way possible to help HD Audio become an industry standard.
